Aidan Gillen as Allen Hynek

Aidan Gillen is an Irish award-winning actor. He plays the role of Dr. Allen Hynek in Project Blue Book. Gillen is best known for portraying Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011–17), In 2015 he starred in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) the second film in the Maze Runner trilogy, Tommy Carcetti in the HBO series The Wire (2004–08), Stuart Alan Jones in the Channel 4 series Queer as Folk (1999–2000),  John Boy in the RTÉ series Love/Hate (2010–11) and CIA operative Bill Wilson in The Dark Knight Rises (2012). He also hosted seasons 10 through 13 of Other Voices. Gillen has won three Irish Film & Television Awards and has been nominated for a British Academy Television Award, a British Independent Film Award, and a Tony Award.

In the year 2000 till date, he has won the Irish Film Festival Award for Actor in Lead Role Television, Milan International Film Festival Award for Best Actor,  as well as the Empire Hero Award. He has been nominated several times for Teen Choice Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, Irish Film and Television Award, British Independent Film Award as well as for Tony Award. Fun facts about Aidan, He is the youngest of 6 children, Took his mother’s surname, Gillen, because another actor was already registered with the Actors Guild as Aidan Murphy.

Laura Mennell as Mimi Hynek

Laura Mennell is a Canadian actress who plays the role of Mimi Hynek in Project Blue Book. Over the past decade, she’s built a successful and busy career and is best known for her work on The Man in the High Castle (2018), Loudermilk (2017), Syfy’s Alphas (2011) and Haven (2010). Laura was also in A&E’s Emmy Nominated Flight 93 (2006), as well as Warner Brothers blockbuster Watchmen (2009). She’s had reoccurring and guest-starring roles in shows like Motive (2013), Fringe (2008), Supernatural (2005), Smallville (2001), When Calls the Heart (2014). And if you’re a fan of the Hallmark Ch. or Lifetime you might just catch her in a few heartfelt movies among other things. Another highlight in her career included working with The Electric Company and The Arts Club Theatre’s Tear The Curtain! in Vancouver in 2011, and remounting the production at Toronto’s Canadian Stage in 2012. For her performance in Tear The Curtain! she was nominated for a Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for best performance by a female lead. Additionally, she was also nominated for a Leo Award for best performance by a leading lady for Alphas (2011). Along with Ms. Mennell’s love of performing, she’s also fluent in French-having attended French Immersion schools throughout elementary and high school. Laura enjoys farming and likes to spend time growing vegetables as she is a vegetarian, and likes to grow the food she prefers to eat herself.  Laura loves cats and even calls herself “Cat Lady” – she has two cats at home.

Laura has been an active participator in the charity event called “A Brush Of Hope”. She has been a part of the project for five years already and promotes the ideas of the project worldwide. In fact, the event consists of a celebrity auction on which singers, actors, and artists create works of art that raise money for the Canadian Kidney Foundation.

Laura also seems to be a fan of the arts and often finds herself as the muse for the multi-talented artist Mike Soloman. Check out some of his work and see if you can spot Laura. I say purchase a piece of his work. I mean, who would not want to have a beautiful painting of Laura hanging on their wall.

Neal McDonough as General James Harding

Neal McDonough is a multi-talented and award-winning actor who plays the role of General James Harding in Project Blue Book can be seen in a multitude of stellar productions. In 2019. he gave a lightning rod performance in Paramount Networks’ “Yellowstone” opposite Kevin Costner.
He can also be seen in “Van Helsing” (as the Bride of Dracula), as well as the Netflix hit series, “Altered Carbon”, as the Grand Creator of a New Universe. He also got the opportunity to reprise his role as Sean Cahill in the final season of the USA hit TV series, “Suits”. Next up is reprising his role as Damien Darhk on “Legends of Tomorrow”. In addition to starring in 6 top-rated TV series, he is also stared (as the hero) and executive producing the western feature film, “The Warrant’ Not limited to TV and feature films, McDonough has also had stage credits as Daddy Warbucks in “Annie” and “Willy Wonka” in Vancouver. Other credits in his past also include “Band of Brothers”, “Minority Report”, “Captain America”, “Justified”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Captain America”, “Walking Tall” and more. More recently, he starred in the award-winning film, “Greater”, “1922” for Stephen King and “Game Over Man” for Netflix. But Neal’s most prized accomplishment is his relationship with his wife Ruvé, their five children, and with God, as a devout Catholic.
 

Michael Harney as General Hugh Valentine

Michael Harney is playing General Hugh Valentine on Project Blue Book. Michael has been an actor on television since the early 1990s, in such acclaimed series as “NYPD Blue” (ABC 1993-2005), “Deadwood” (HBO 2005-2006) and “Weeds” (Showtime 2005-2012). His ability to tap into the emotional and spiritual elements of his characters was the result of substantial training and work on the New York theater scene. After years of anonymity on the Off-Broadway circuit, Harney earned his big break as a morally compromised police officer on “Blue,” which led to steady work as a guest performer on countless series. In 2005, he played a hateful towns-person on “Deadwood,” which further increased his profile; he successfully transitioned from recurring turns on various series, including an alcoholic detective on “Weeds,” to his first turn as a series regular on “Orange Is the New Black” (2013).
Michael J. Harney born in the Bronx, New York went on to intensive study with legendary acting teachers William Esper and Phil Gushee, both of whom studied and taught with Sanford Meisner for many years at The Neighborhood Playhouse School Of The Theater. After studying acting for 7 years he went on to run The Michael Harney Acting Studio in New York City for 8 years. During his time in New York City Michael acted in and/or directed over 80 plays and one-acts and starred in On The Waterfront on Broadway playing the role of Charlie Malloy.
He landed the recurring role of Detective Mike Roberts on NYPD Blue while still living in New York City, a role that recurred for six seasons. Also, he has appeared in over 60 television and film projects here in Los Angeles since he arrived in 1995.
His credits in film include Erin Brockovich, Turbulence, The Warden, Sonic Impact, Shade and the soon to be released Captivity directed by Roland Joffe. He has also in Ocean’s 13 directed by Steven Soderbergh.
In television, Michael played for two seasons on Deadwood playing Steve Fields for HBO. Deadwood marks his second association with legendary producer David Milch, the first being NYPD Blue where he recurred for six seasons as Detective Mike Roberts. He also recently recurred this past season on Fox’s hour-long drama Vanished. He has played recurring roles on many hit shows over the years and has over 60 guest star credits including turns on Law And Order, Bull, Cold Case, The Practice, Boston Public, ER, Crossing Jordon, The Fugitive, Touched By An Angel, JAG and The Division among others. Television movies include Dead By Sunset on NBC and Gone In The Night for CBS.
Fun facts about Michael is an outspoken advocate of prison reform. He hasn’t been incarcerated, but during his college years, Michael did some volunteer work at Ossining State Penitentiary. He assisted a prisoner with his case and visited him regularly. Michael at one time was considering becoming a Jesuit priest. He was influenced by a spiritual advisory during his time at Fordham University.

Sofia Milo as Daria

Sofia Milo is playing the role of Daria on Project Blue Book. Sofia has over 400 hours of television on the air, as well as on film. She starred opposite David Caruso on the international hit show CSI: Miami as, Yelina Salas, sister-in-law and impossible love of Horatio Caine, from season 1 to season 8 (2003-2010).

Starred as Homeland Security Agent Bianca La Garda, in the action-packed international TV drama The Border (2007-2010), for which she won a nomination at the Monte Carlo International Television Festival. Sofia Milos also hosted the Award Show in Monaco in 2012 with French Host Bernard Monteil.

The role which first garnered her the international notice was her strong performance in the critically-acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos. Sofia Milos recurred as mob boss, Annalisa Zucca, who goes toe-to-toe with Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini). With this role, she showed that she possesses the ability to be strong and powerful, while still remaining feminine and vulnerable and it’s these kinds of performances for which she won an Artistic Achievement Award in 2010 in Banff and a Hellenic Times Award, in 2009 in NYC.

Co-starred in the French series Section De Recherche, speaking fluent French and starred in German cult film series “Tatort “, as detective Abbey Lenning, speaking Swiss German.

Born in Zurich, Switzerland to a Greek mother and Italian father, her family still resides in Rome. Blessed with a variety of international influences, she is now fluent in Italian, French, German, English, Greek, and Spanish and holds an Italian and a US Passport.

When Sofia was 15, she entered a local beauty pageant, and after winning first prize went on to win the provincial, regional and national contests as well, receiving the title Junior Lady Italy.

Michael Malarkey as Captain Michael Quinn

Michael Malarkey plays the role of Captain Michael Quinn in Project Blue Book. Michael was born to an Irish American father and a British mother of Arab and Italian origin. The family settled down in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Malarkey traveled to England to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he had his beginnings on the London stage appearing in various theatre productions including lead roles in Spring Storm by Tennessee Williams and Beyond the Horizon by Eugene O’Neill at Royal National Theatre, an adaptation of The Great Gatsby in the role of Jay Gatsby and in the Original London Company of Million Dollar Quartet in the role of singer Elvis Presley.

Malarkey also appeared in several film and television projects including recurring roles in series’ Raw for Rte and Mr. Sloane with Nick Frost before landing the role of Lorenzo “Enzo” St. John in season 5 of the television series The Vampire Diaries as a recurring character. After gaining popularity with the viewing public, Malarkey’s role was upgraded to a series regular starting in Season 6 and through the end of Season 8.

In 2017 he appeared as “Dizel” in Jean-Claude Van Johnson for Amazon Video, as “Sam Foster” in The Oath for Crackle and as “Cinch Barton” in the film A Violent Separation.

Michael is also a musician, after two EPs in 2014 and 2015, he released his debut full-length record, Mongrels on 8 September 2017 accompanied by music videos for singles Uncomfortably Numb and Mongrels. Ksenia Solo as Susie Miller

Ksenia Solo is a Latvian-Canadian actress who plays the role of Susie Miller in Project Blue Book. She was born in Riga, Latvia into an artistic family. She is a recipient of many prestigious Canadian awards, including 3 Gemini Awards and a nominee of the first-ever Canadian Screen Awards. Ksenia was the youngest actor in Canadian television history to win two consecutive Gemini Awards.

Solo is a highly versatile actress. She is best known for playing the ambitious ‘Veronica’, rival to Natalie Portman’s ‘Nina’ in the 5-time Oscar-nominated film Black Swan, manipulative and disturbed ‘Holly’ opposite Dominic Monaghan in the psychological thriller Pet, and young and innocent ‘Lucy’ opposite Maria Bello in In Search of Fellini.

Solo’s ability to transform has also earned her critical acclaim for her roles on television including fan-favorite ‘Kenzi’ in the fantasy-noir Syfy hit Lost Girl, real-life socialite and wife of America’s most infamous traitor ‘Peggy Shippen’ in AMC’s historical drama TURN: Washington’s Spies and Cosima’s romantic love interest ‘Shay’ opposite Tatiana Maslany in BBC’s Orphan Black.

No stranger to the comic book world, Ksenia played Dodge in the highly anticipated FOX/DreamWorks comic book adaptation of Locke & Key, which was executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Her other work includes starring on CW’s Life Unexpected.

Solo’s indie feature, Tulipani, Love, Honour, and a Bicycle, directed by Oscar-winner Mike Van Diem, received a standing ovation at its world premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. Ksenia had to learn Italian for her role in the film.

Solo also finds time to be involved with the anti-bullying foundation Stand for the Silent and was made one of their directors.

Ksenia has developed her own film projects along with her film company, OnFire Films, and a team of talented artists. She looks forward to getting behind the camera and exploring the world of directing and producing. If you follow Ksenia on Instagram you know she’s a dog lover and you’ll be sure to see her faithful little companion Tino which is her grey poodle.

Nicholas Holmes as Joel Hynek

Nicholas Holmes is a Canadian actor who plays the role of Joel Hynek in Project Blue Book.

Nicholas is known for playing Liam Neeson’s son in the action-packed movie Cold Pursuit (2019). He was nominated for the best actor category by UBCP/ACTRA. That’s equivalent to a SAG-AFTRA Award in the US. That same year he also earned another nomination by UBCP/ACTRA for Best Emerging Artist for Bletchley Circle: San Francisco. Nicholas also had a recurring role on Bates Motel as a young Norman Bates in flashback episodes from (2013 – 2017). We better watch out for this trailblazer, He may just conquer the world.

On a personal note. Nicholas plays on the soccer team the VANU Crushers where he and his teammates were the U-13 Divisions Champions for the 2019-2020 season.

Jerod Hayes as CIA Agent Daniel Banks

Jerod Haynes is an American actor who plays the role of CIA Agent Daniel Banks in Project Blue Book.

Jerod is best known for the role of Tommy on Southside With You, Haynes most recently was a series regular on NBC’s The Village. He starred, co-produced, and co-wrote feature Blueprint for the Orchard, directed by Daryl Wein. His credits also include indie films Consumed and Animals, as well as series Empire (Fox), Sense8 (Netflix), and Crisis (NBC). 

Jill Morrison as Faye

Jill Morrison is a Canadian actress who plays the role of Faye in Project Blue Book.

Born in Langley, British Columbia, Jill spent her childhood living in small Canadian towns, always looking for a chance to act. At the age of 13, Jill discovered a theatre group in her community where she began her love affair with theatre. Jill also discovered she had remarkable talent in Improv, a skill that has contributed to her instincts as an actress.
Jill received her B.F.A in classical and contemporary theatre from the University of Windsor. She continued her work in sketch comedy through her university years actively participating in many Improv groups. Jill’s film career began as the memorable ‘She doesn’t even go here’ girl from Tina Fey’s hit movie Mean Girls, a scene that has since grossed 1.5 million hits on YouTube. This was Jill’s first audition and first job. Shortly after completing Mean Girls, Jill booked a lead role in Disney’s feature film Crimes Of Fashion. A slew of roles followed in numerous blockbuster films including Big Eyes.
Jill can be seen in numerous television shows, recurring in City TV’s “Package Deal”, A&E’s “The Returned”, Showtime’s “The L Word”, and USA Network’s “Psych”. She’s also guest-starred in ABC’s “Imaginary Mary”, The CW’s “Supernatural”, “Smallville”, “iZombie”, and “Emily Owens”, Showtimes “Masters of Horror”, USA Network’s “The 4400”, CBC’s “Intelligence”, and SYFY’s, “Aftermath”, and “Eureka”. Jill has also worked extensively over the years with Hallmark, recurring in the hit drama series “When Calls the Heart”, and appearing in numerous Hallmark films including “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Road Less Travelled”, “The Sweetest Christmas”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: From the Heart”, “Family for Christmas”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Truth be Told”, and “A Cookie Cutter Christmas”.
Most recently Jill guest-starred in Netflix’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events”. Jill splits her time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
